What is Modern Australian Cuisine? Modern Australian Cuisine is a combination of the various food cultures that call Australia home. With influences from Europe, Asia and the Mediterranean, Australian food has developed its own identity, which makes it one of the most exciting and innovative cuisines in the world today.
Australia is such a young country, we are not bound by food traditions, and with the arrival of so many different cultures we are more than happy to accept the flavours and work with them. We didn’t try to “Australianize” it, we accepted it. Through this, Modern Australian Cuisine was born.
After leaving Australia and a few years travelling, we opened our doors to the Dutch public in December 2002.
We offer a warm modern atmosphere with a wine bar, a spacious dining room and a separate private dining room for groups up to 18 people. We have the ability to accommodate seated group reservations up to 80 persons.
In the summer months we also have a peaceful garden and terrace for alfresco style dining.
